Snowfall
obeys no rules,
falling gently,
it changes course,
allowing the wind to choose its target,
landing on this bush instead of that twig.
Child of nature
it cares not what its destination will be.
Acceptance.
Life, health, love and death
amuse themselves
with the same abstractions,
finding, swirling, picking and choosing
he she or it
who lives, loves, or dies.
Acceptance.
Indecision?
Random selection?
The interplay of
rules and fate.
What sagacity, what self-importance
to look at the rules and not the random,
To ignore the off the cuff workings
of our universal habitat.
Acceptance.
